Volunteering for ALARA
Do you have a skill or interest that would like to share or time available where you would like to make a real difference on your community? ALARA has a range of volunteer roles available, including:
- Helping or teaching in our arts programs
- Being a volunteer literacy or computer tutor
- Running special interest sessions in your area of interest or expertise
- Assisting with kitchen gardening and healthy eating programs
- Assisting in a range of fitness and leisure programs
- Helping at ALARA events
- Assisting with mailouts and other office tasks
Volunteering is also a great way to become familiar with work in the community sector if your are considering a career change.
