Dingley Dell Gallery
ALARA has recently completed a major project to restore Ipswich’s iconic Dingley Dell Gallery and make it accessible for artists with a disability. This beautiful building was built in the early 1900’s its history evokes many memories for older Ipswich residents. The Gallery was transferred to ALARA in 2012 after 30 years of operation by the Ipswich Painter, Potters and Craft Society Inc. as a showcase for the talents of local artists.
ALARA's vison of the Gallery is for it to continue its connection with the thriving local arts scene but to provide a venue where artists with a disability can be fully included in arts development activities and workshops and showcase their works.
